What Causes Waking Up Drenched In Sweat, Eye Infection, Runny Nose And Cough?

Hi, I have a violent cough, runny nose and sore throat ( that seems to be getting better). I also have a eye infection that started this morning but there other symptoms have been around for 4 days. I wake up every morning drenched in sweat. Before these symptoms I had a one day fever. Please advise!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms .
I also recommend to rest, drink lots of liquids and eat a healthy diet.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
