What Causes Vomiting While On Hydrocodone?

I started taking hydrocodone this morning for my wisdom tooth that's been pulled but for the last few hours I puke everytime I sit up or walk. My body is very weak and shaky. And I have been sleeping for about 7 hours straight because I'm so exhausted. Are these normal symptoms or do I need to go to the ER?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain it looks like you have side effects of Hydrocortisone as it is not normal to have frequent vomiting post intake of Hydrocodone..

So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and he can advise you other groups of painkiller like Ibuprofen or Naproxen or Ketorolac..

Along with it take Ondensarton for vomiting..
Drink plenty of water and other fluids to prevent dehydration..
You can also add oral rehydration salt in water to overcome electrolyte loss..
Take small light meals every 2 hours..
Take sufficient rest..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
