Hi,

Vomiting would have been most likely due to chemotherapy your friend must have been receiving. it is very common for patients receiving chemotherapy to experience vomiting. However, there are other causes as well, in order to be certain I would like to know further details regarding the case, as the type of cancer, type of treatment received, etc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jatin Bhatia, Radiation Oncologist
