What Causes Vomiting, Headache And Tingling Sensation In The Hands?

My 30 year old son is having severe vomiting, headache and is tingly, especially his hands. He was working in 85 degree weather today for 4 hours and seemed to drink enough water. I believe he is dehydrated, but cannot stop vomiting enough to keep water down.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A headache and tingling are due to electrolyte loss due to vomiting. He needs to maintain hydration with lots of water.

If he has continuous vomiting than he should be admitted to the hospital and intravenous fluid like ringer lactate should be given to replenish lost electrolyte and to maintain hydration.

For vomiting ondansetron through injection should be given. I suggest you consult him to nearby physician and discuss all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
