What Causes Vomiting And Rash Around The Mouth In An Infant?
My grandson had a sudden onset of vomiting and now has a rash around his mouth and chin that does not go away when pressed on. I told my daughter to call his dr. s office as I have never had that happen with my kids. They told her to take him to the ER. What could that be? He is 19 months old.

Vomiting is a common problem occurred with an infant. Rash around mouth suggests some viral infection mostly. Also, check for fever. And please take the baby to her, as early diagnosis can be made and start early treatment.
