What Causes Vomiting And Foul Smelling Diarrhoea In An Infant?

My grandson is 14 months old he has been vomiting and has diarrhea three days. He only vomits when he wakes up and his diarrhea smells extremely bad. He hasn t run any fever and he is playing normal, laughs as usual. Should I take him to the doctor?

Dear,
Symptoms mentioned by u are suggesting about posssible anaerobic bacterial gastro enteritis as diarrhea caused by anaerobes will have a foul smell.
Fir treatment keep well hydration...give lots of ors or elctral.
For diarrhea gv econorm sachet 1 bd or Sporolac sachet qds.
For vomiting gv syp. Ondansetron.
Tab. Pantop w0 mg can be given and since it seems an anaerobic infection plz gv syp. Normet or otger similar combination of norflox tinidazole or oflox ornidazole.
If not relieved visit a pediatrician asap.
