What Causes Vomiting And Eyelid Bruise From Being Sick?

I have been vomiting for 2 days now and my eyelids are severely bruised from this, they badly bruised and tender to touch. This happens to me every time I m sick whether it s violent vomiting or not. Should I consult with my GP to make sure everything is okay?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

An eyelid bruising is not related to normal GI viral infection. There can be certain neurological conditions which may present in such fashion with eyelid bruise. An assessment with your general physician is best recommended for systemic evaluation and further guidelines as this may also require a neurologist opinion if needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
