What Causes Vomiting And Discoloration Around The Lips?

I got too intoxicated last night and ended up vomiting pretty hard, I m used to the eye area and cheeks being splotchy after vomiting, but I woke up this morning and it looks like I have a ring of bruising right around my lip line. What caused that? Is it related at all to being sick or drinking or is it something entirely different because last week I had gone to the rest room half way through work and all of a sudden I had a small line under my bottom lip that looked like a bruise. What is going on?

Hi,

Bruising around lip line can be due to: trauma from biting due to loss of senses from heavy intoxication, you may have bit your lip as well subconsciously. Bruising can also be due to dehydration from drying of lips. Possibility of trauma from kissing if done.

Without physical examination nothing can be precisely said. Either send attachment photo of lip or visit to nearby dental hospital for necessary redressal. But I feel you need not to visit a dentist. Just apply glycerol in the area twice daily for 5 days.it will relieve in few days.
