What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhoea Along With High Fever In A Child?

Have granddaughter been sick for six weeks with cold. Got Rash, fever. last week took to ER. Said she had roseola. Now she again throwing up and diaria for two days, running fever again. Should we take her back to ER. Put her on whole milk, stopped that. Cutting four molars.

Thank you for following up. She had HHV 6(roseola), which decrease her immunity. Now when her teeth are cutting the infected saliva is going in the intestine and cause inflammation and diarrhoea. I rcommend-
1.To begin with, you should give paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly,that too onlybif fever is more,than 100F.
2. Econorm(Saccharomyces). You should use twice a day for 5 days
3.ORS
4.Try to keep the baby hydrated by giving plenty of water.
5.Pay attention to her tongue, cheeks if it is white as Candidiasis then wash mouth with soda water and apply Candid 5 drops in mouth 3 times.
6.Follow Pevzner's diet 4-rice, rice soup,boiled potato,cookies and etc
