What Causes Vomiting After Taking Zolfresh?

Hi doctor,I took 1mg zolfresh but could not sleep,then i took 1 more tab after that i slept.I do not remember what happened after that.I got up next afternoon. My husband told me that i vomitted in the night and wrote a goodbye note. I am unaware of all this.Nor I thought of all this.

Hi,

Zolfresh contains zolpidem that is used in the treatment of insomnia by reducing the excitiability of brain cells and induce sleep. But like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own. It may cause nausea or feeling unwell, hallucinations, memory loss, dizziness, drowsiness and many more. Most of these side effects are self limiting and usually go away over time after stop taking this medication. But if any of these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your prescribing doctor immediately for medical help.
