General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Coffee ground vomit might indicate presence of blood in the vomits so it is important to have a visit with your doctor to discuss this and possibly he might ask for an endoscopy to make sure your stomach is well and not bleeding. You might need to also be aware of presence of dark black stools as this can be another sign of stomach bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
