What Causes Vision Of Floaters In Eyes?

For about 15 to 20 minutes this afternoon, my sight was strange. I saw bright lights, in the shape of C in both eyes, kind of like sparklers. It didn t matter if my eyes were opened or closed, the lights were still there and they moved wherever I looked, kind of like floaters . Again, this lasted about 20 minutes. This has never happened before. I just wondered if I should be concerned.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pvision of floaters in eyes. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query diabetes mellitus , conjunctivitis , alcoholism , hypocalcemia , herpes zoster , multiple sclerosis or neuropathy. I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order nerve conduction test along with blood test and physical examination . Doctor may refer you to ophthalmologist for eye problem .Doctor may also rule out neuralgia and bell's palsy and sinusitis . Doctor may prescribe nerve supplement , anti depressants along with anti inflammatory . For now protect your eyes from dust and wash your eyes with cold water .
