What Causes Vibrating Sensation On Left Groin Area?

I am a 54 yr old female. I have a stange vibration sensation to my left groin area. No pain. Duration is about a week and frequency is numerous times a day for up to maybe 15 minutes (every 3 seconds or so during that time) What could be the cause? No recent injuries, no muscle weakness, no urinary/bowel problems, no numbness. No medications.

Hello mam, From the complaint that you have provided I can understand that it must be a very nagging feeling for you.But the best advice in this scenario would be to consult a doctor in this scenario. One must need to know more about your complaint such as , what is the position of your leg and whether you are standing or sitting when the senses occur or whthere there is swelling noted recently.when you feel this vibration sense and also are there any other body parts that are experiencing similiar sensations. At best you need an examination and an xray/mri of local part to see if any physical (bone/muscle) problem is causing this sense or whether it is something like a hernia
