Hi,I just had sex with my boyfriend yesterday and while I was having sex it kind of hurt, so today I woke up and checked why my vagina hurt and I see bumps that look exactly like vestibular papillomatosis. Should I be worried ? Will it go away? How do I treat it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
You seem to have infection with human pappiloma virus, It is a sexually transmitted disease & few type of virus can lead to cervical dysplasia. So early consultation is desired
Please consult a gynecologist. Diagnosis is mostly by physical examination/ biopsy as per need.
Treatment is by specific medicines / surgical removal of pappilae/laser treatment to treat cervical dysplasia if needful.
I hope that satisfies you.
Thanks
