Dear sir i can understand your concern
I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications. There few things you need to consider in understanding diabetes
1.the blood sugars are always dynamic-;This means the blood sugar will be always tends to fluctuate in a range with respect to time but in diabetes the fluctuation will be little more than normal.
2.That estimation blood sugar daily,Its advisable to check Hba1c%once in three months to see average blood sugar for past three months this is a more valid indicator of blood sugar control than checking random or after 1 hour sample.

The medications what you are taking are good.
usually due to absorption of glucose in body and due to defective first phase of insulin realise there will be slight peaking of blood sugar after 1 hr but eventually it will come down. There is nothing to feel bad about that its a natural phenomenon.
