What Causes Vaginal Water Discharge And Pain Post Menstruation?

During my period i used a super plus tampon, when i might have been not such a heavy flow. Normally its BAD.. It hurt a tad bit coming out and now its almost a week after my period and it still hurts a bit. I never had an Yeast infection and thought it was that.. I did three day treatment over the counter and nothing.. There is no white or odd looking discharge.. just lots of clear water discharge.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If there is no obvious discharge then the pain may be due to trauma to the area though you still need to monitor for any indication of infection.

The use of anti inflammatory pain killers may help along with sitz baths.

Anti inflammatory pain killers include medications such as naproxen, cataflam, ibuprofen.

Using a sitz bath at least two to three times daily may help to soothe the area as well.

I hope this helps
