General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Mild spotting like the one you are experiencing might not be much significance, but still needs evaluation. It could be caused due to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), cervical inflammation (cervicitis) or due to presence of cervical or uterine polyps. Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done and consult Gynecologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management. Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.
