What Causes Vaginal Spotting?

I am a 65 year old woman, Ive been spotting occasionally, I also sometimes feel as if I have a tampon in and can feel something hard, My Dr. told me a few years ago that I had thinning walls between my uterus and and my bowels. I have regular pap tests and physicals.

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology. Get a ultrasound done to see endometrial thickness. If endometrial thickness is more than 4 mm, you may need endometrial biopsy to rule out any endometrial pathology. Hope it helps.
