Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been treating my vaginal burning, itching, etc with Monostat 7. That may not be the right thing, altho I have less burning, I have noticed some blood (not much) coming from the vaginal canal. Could you give your best guess as to whether this is unusual or if I am treating the wrong infection?
Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. Get a pelvic examination done to rule out any other cause of burning and itching and irregular bleeding. There can be some bacterial infection also. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal.
