What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Unprotected Intercourse?

I m 24 I have been having unprotected sex a few months now.... I started spotting light pink on 7/27,7/28 and 7/29. On 7/30 I bled bright red then it stopped after maybe an hour or two. From 7/31-8/6 I ve been spotting it s light pink and watery. Last month this happened as well and lasted 10days. Should I be concerned? Could it just be my period? I haven t taken a pregnancy test since I m bleeding I figured there s no point...
