What Causes Vaginal Pain Postpartum?

Hello, I am 6 days postpartum and am having vaginal pain localized to the right side only. Took a look and the right labia is protruding and quite red and irritated on the upper portion. The pain is quite excrutiating and seems to radiate the full right side of the vagina. Should I be going to emergency/doctor or is there something I can apply to help.

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. It can be due to some vaginal infection. You can apply some ointment like metrogyl P. Take some pain killer like paracetamol 500mg. Hope it helps
