What Causes Vaginal Pain During Intercourse?

Hello! So last night while I was having sex, about 10 minutes into it my vagina started hurting. Even the slightest touch made it feel like it was burning. I then went to the toilet and it burned when I peed and wiped. I noticed that the left side of my chains was extremely swollen and I just wanted to know if this is normal? It occurs a lot of the time I have sex but I ve never really noticed the swelling

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to urinary tract infection/urethritis, vaginal infection, vulvovaginits.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, vaginal swab test, urine routine and microscopic tests to confirm the cause
Doctor will give following advises depending upon cause:
For UTI: tablet nitrozolium, tablet pyridium and syrup cital
For Vaginal infection: vaginal suppository of clingen and lactobacilli
Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Application of mild steroid application
Drink plenty if water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple
Avoid perfumed soap and cosmpetic
Wear pure cotton loose inner and maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash
Avoid sex till you get better
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
