What Causes Vaginal Odour?

I have been having an odor come from my vagina. I know all women have an odor but this seems to be a little fishy. And it is during exercise, sometimes in the mornings, but I smell it when I use the bathroom(maybe due to the proximity to my face while sitting on the toilet). My discharge is white, what could be wrong?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Fishy odor of vaginal discharge is common with bacterial vaginosis caused by a bacteria called as Gardeneralla Vaginalis. It can be easily diagnosed under microscopic examination of vaginal discharge smear with the presence of CLUE cells. It can be treated with tablet Metranidazole or with other antibiotics. Consult your physician or your gynecologist. Get well soon.
