General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear thanks for the question.

It looks like a candida (fungus) infection. A common infection in vagina. I prescribe my patients clotrimazole vaginal pessaries once daily for 10 days. I also take a vaginal smear for study on first day and re test on completion of treatment. Majority of the time response is very good.

I would like to advise you to try this. Request your doctor to prescribe this along with giving smear for examination.

In case of no relief you need to do blood sugar test and wbc profile. As it is more common in high sugar patients. Wbc levels tell about infection severity.

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please rate this reply. I wish you good health. Thank you
