What Causes Vaginal Discharge Of White Tissue Followed By Abdominal Cramps During Menstruation?
I started a new oral contraceptive...Necon 1/35 about a month ago. My doctor has advised me to skip periods because I suffer from terribly heavy flow and cramps. I just unexpectedly got my period and there was clotted white tissue followed by immediate severe cramps. Is this just built up from the period I skipped and my body is regulating and balancing out all of the hormones or should I be worried? My doctor said spotting could occur as a result of things balancing but never mentioned tissue, clots, or starting a complete period

Thanks for the concern. You have white discharge with abdominal cramps during menstruation it suggest you might have vaginal infection most probably candidiasis. For that you should start antibiotics or you can use clotrimazole vaginal tablets for three days. For abdominal cramps you can take tablet meftalspas and consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.
