What Causes Vaginal Discharge Of Spongy Grey Matter?

I ve recently had a biopsy from my vulva and waiting on results, due to itching on the left outer side. Today, I had a small, grey spongy matter on my underwear when I went to the bathroom. I ve never had this before. Should I inform my Gynecologist or is it nothing to be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Every new finding or symptom is important to inform your doctor (gynecologist) especially because you are already having tests for diagnosis of certain condition. The gynecologist will need to do a vaginal examination and try to determine if there are findings that justify or can explain the secretions you found and if specific treatment is needed for this.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj,
