What Causes Vaginal Discharge Of Hard Pink Substance?

Question: I am a 69 year old female, while taking a shower today I felt something hard just inside my vagina which was washed away by the shower. However a very tiny piece remained and when looking at it, it was pinkish in color and very hard, this happened two days ago also, do you know what that could be? Am I passing a stone or something? I have no symptoms whatsoever.

1. The body typically discharges around 2-3 grams of mucus every day. If the body is also experiencing vaginal bleeding this can cause the mucus to turn pink.

2. A number of conditions can cause blood to mix with the vagina's natural discharge. In most cases this is normal, but you should evaluate your other symptoms to help ensure that you do not require medical attention.

3. If you experience a pink discharge for a long period of time it can be a sign that a more serious condition. This may be a sign that the vulva or vagina is inflamed, typically due to a sexually transmitted disease. If the color of the discharge begins to turn progressively darker it can be a sign that you may have a cancerous tumor or vaginitis.

4. Take a visit to your gynecologist , she will know best
