What Causes Vaginal Bleeding While On Norethindrone And Estrogel?

Hi I was taken norethindrone 5 mg and estrogel.I skipped one dose and 3 days later started spotting.I was spotting for 12 days,Dr said try 2 estrogel pumps and I did it made for a heavier period.I stopped all my treatments. I m curious as to how long will I continue to have a period. Thank you

The bleeding you are experiencing is clearly a withdrawal bleed caused due to the discontinuation of the medications you were on. The bleed should last about 3-7 days and not longer, but as you have been bleeding for longer than this, your doctor may have to prescribe medications to help you to stop bleeding.
