Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Saddiq ul Abidin. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

I am sorry to know about the problem you are having.

In my opinion you are not having an STD but your symptoms are much suggestive of Urinary tract infection/inflammation.

You girlfriend's bleeding may or may not be related to this issue she might be having some infection but usually an infection this severe would show clearly.

Your symptoms can be controlled and treated quite easily , I will suggest you some remedies here and will also guide you about what medication is usually given in this so that you can get guided to better treatment options.

SUGGESTIONS:

1) Don't panic , this doesn't seem to be an alarming issue, with slight care and treatment this can be cured within a week to ten days.

2) Drink lots of water.

3) You can use over the counter antihistamin like citrizine 10mg once in night daily.

4) Tylenol can be used for pain and inflammation.

5) Citro soda or citralka sachets used thrice a day gave relief to many of my patients.

6) Keep a good personal hygiene.

7) For some days don't get involved in sexual activity.

8) I would also ask my similar patients to use Tablet Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day for 7-10 days , this had great results in UTI , you can discuss this with your doctor.

9) I would also get my patient to do a urine R/E before and after the treatment.

10) Drinking Cranberry juice helps much.

In the end i would again reassure you that this is not an alarming situation just needs a bit of care and treatment to cure

I hope this answered your question. If you have more queries I am happy to answer.Otherwise rate and close the discussion

Regrads.
