What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Pain After Urination During Pregnancy?
I found out i was pregnant and also had a water infection about 2 days ago, but have been bleeding after urination and bowel movement, also pain at the end of urination the pain has gone but am still lightly bleeding. is it just an infection or something else? As I ve read about chemical pregnancy. I went to the doctor and couldn t tell for sure where the bleeding was coming from (during examination) because of infection, he said what looked like the side of my wall where cells where attaching?. any advice, or am i worrying to much?

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. S. Samanta's Response
Hi! bleeding with pain in pregnancy is a cause for concern but after going through your case, I must say that possibly it is not that serious in your case!
You described vaginal bleeding following / at the end of micturition; therefore, I would consider following possibilities:
1. urinary /urethral infection
2. urinary stone
3. vaginal infection/injuries
4. kind of miscarriage
5. ectopic pregnancy
Therefore, I must suggest ultrasound of your lower abdomen and a routine urine test to relieve your concerns.
regards,
