What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Vaginal Hysterectomy?
I had a vaginal hysterectomy 18 days ago. I had a 2 week check up and all was well apart from a mild Infection so was prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics. I have had some bleeding but yesterday I bled heavily with some clotting. I have rested up in bed for the last 24 hours and it has eased but I'm worried it may be something serious.

Detailed answer...Since normaly it blood can come in drops not heavily after few days of hystrectomy.Other wise if it bleeds heavily after 18 days heavily,it could be because of opening of stiches or blood clots inside.My opinion would get checked by your gyanecologist and discuss further.
