What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Folic Acid Tablets?

Hello doctor, on behalf of my wife, am consulting you.I missed my period,and two weeks later, i had severe abdomen pain,so i went to doctor and she checked with pregnancy kit and said to me, you are pregnant.And she advised me to take strone 100 mg capsule and m-folate. i had this capsule one night and the very next day it showed results like normal periods. Tell me some solution ,

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the description you have given, it appears that you could have missed abortion as the pregnancy has not taken up.
Bleeding does not take place with the medications prescribed as it is given to support continuation of pregnancy.
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen done and consult Gynecologist with the report for clinical evaluation and management.
