I've been on Noriday progesterone only pill for a year. During my last period I missed 1 pill. I followed the pack instructions and took the next days pill at the usual time and have continued as normal every day since. My husband and I abstained for 5 days after the missed pill, 3 of which I had my period still. I then went on holiday for a week and then we had sex once upon my return. 2 days later I started having breakthrough bleeding which was brown with the odd pink stain and very scanty. I also have bad menstrual cramps which is normal for my periods on Noriday. This has now gone on for 3 days. My actual period is due in 5 days. I am 43. I also have a cold.
