What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Hi, I had sex for the first time on Saturday to my boyfriend. I have so many questions. First off he went in but not that far and when I got home it was this watery type blood I m guessing coming out of me the color was redish orange. That s normal? Also I looked at my vagina and I see a little white thing on the side what does it mean?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Bleeding is normal if you had penetrative sex for the first time, it happened due to hymen breaking. You need not worry, it may be a portion of the hymen tissue. It will go away as you have foreplay & friction during sex.

Do not go for multiple partners, always go for protected sex(use condoms). Stay safe, avoid getting sexually transmitted diseases.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
