What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

I had an total hysterectomy about 11 years ago I had sexual intercourse this morning with my husband and now I m bleeding from my vagina deep red every time I wipe more blood comes out I m worried on what it could be I have a history of breast cancer which I was diagnosed in May of 2011 I m in remission 5 years now but I am concerned about this bleeding I don t think it s normal I wasn t dry cause we used lubricant so I m wondering if it s vaginal polyps or a tear.

It is possible but in most cases it happen just sue to dry vaginal wall in perimenopause women. If there is unstoppable bleeding then you should see gynecologist,otherwise you can do exam ambulatory and consider hormonal replacement therapy.
