What Causes Vaginal And Bladder Pain In An Elderly Person?

Had a d&c , age 75, on bioidentical hormone, no progesterone and experienced thickening of uterine lining. After lining was removed, a brown stripe part way around the uterus was found,as I was told estrogen was a problem for me. I have vaginal and bladder pain, and some leakage. I was told it was due to low estrogen, and they only use Premarin. How can this problem be delt with holistically.

Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Low estrogen levels can produce atrophic tissue that causes burning sensation when it comes in contact with urine. Urinanalysis to check for urinary tract infection is indicated. Additional evaluation of these sites to search for occult malignancy is recommended.
Holistic approach can be taken in conjugation with the medication prescribed.
Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
