What Causes Urinary Incontinence At Night?

My bladder gets full fast and at night I have to lay on my back in order to avoid a leakage. I don t think that it s an overactive bladder because, I can go almost the whole day without relieving myself. I m not really sure but, this all started when I had a foley attached to my bladder during my stay at the hospital. Or what s my problem and if it s treatable?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms could be related to local inflammation or an UTI infection. For this reason, I would recommend performing a urine analysis, a urine bacterial culture, and an urinary tract ultrasound. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
