My husband has Type II diabetes. His A1C has decreased at his last doctor s appointment. His weight has gone down each of the last several appointments, even though I don t think he is eating much less and know he is not exercising more. He also does not follow a diabetic type diet. Recently his breath has been smelling just like my student (I work in a public elementary school) when her blood sugar is running very high. In the last couple weeks he has had intermittent urgency of urine and bowels. Yesterday, he didn t make it to the bathroom at home before he was urinating and shortly after he had a BM.
