What Causes Urge To Urinate On Drinking Water?

Hi there. I'm not used to drink too much water. I often drink 1 or 2 glasses of water some days a week, but every time I drink water I feel the urging need to urinate, and by urging, I really mean it!! The same happens with coffee... The urine is clear and odorless. I assume it's OK, but it's really annoying to go to the bathroom every 10 to 15 minutes right after drink water... I just wanna know if this is "normal" or I should see a doctor. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. 10 to 15 minutes after drinking water is normal.
2. Usually it does not occur so early, possibly because of small bladder, you are having this.
3. As the urine is clear and odorless, there is no urinary tract infection and do not worry about it.
4. Avoid coffee and tea. They have diuretic effect and increased production of urine, hence urination will increase.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
