What Causes Upper Back Pain And Lower Chest Pain?

Hi , recently I have been experiencing upper back , lower chest and rib pain. It has happened several times in the last 2 weeks and I have no idea what the cause is. During my last pregnancy (I gave birth on the 6th July this year) I experienced this pain now and again but I am definatly not pregnant. It is a gradual pain and it gets to the point where I cant sleep anymore , I have tried lots of different ways to make it better but it is getting more frequent and more painful.
