Hello and welcome to HCM, Pain in right upper abdomen radiating to back along with history of gray colored stools is suggestive of gall bladder pathology / disorder. Associated chest pain can be due to pain associated with gall bladder pathology itself. Gray colored stools are due to blockade of bile secretion into the stools. Thus, the symptoms are suggestive of disorders of the biliary tract. I suggest you to get an ultrasound abdomen. Gall bladder pathology is most commonly due to stones in the gall bladder and the inflammation can lead to pain in right upper abdomen. If gall stones are detected on ultrasound, the gall bladder needs to be removed along with stones.
