What Causes Unpleasant Odor In The Semen?
Lately my husbands seman has been very different from the norm. It has a foul smell and is a much more liquid consistency. I appologise if this is too much info... it used to be much more viscous and would stay inside me for a day or two then come out in a kind of blob and never smelled bad. Now it is more like water and runs right out. We are trying for a baby so I try not to go straight to the bathroom after sex as it all comes straight out but if I don't the smell sticks with me for a few days and it is very unplesant. Any thoughts??

Unpleasant odor or fishy odor of the semen is indicative of infection (Trichomoniasis, Gonorrhoea, Prostatitis). Semen normally smells like bleach, ammonia or chlorine. However, eating or drinking acidic food, alcohol, caffeine can result in unpleasant odor.
Watery semen is usually due to frequent ejaculation, pre-ejaculation, mineral deficiency, oligospermia.
If you are planning for a baby, visit a gynecologist. Get STD tests done. Get examined, both husband and wife need to go through investigations, get evaluated and treated. You need medications.

Sometimes it may be possible about a foul smell in semen. First, you do semen analysis of your husband.
About liquidity, it may change frequently and like water, there is no issue about conceiving if there are enough no of motile sperm and fructose in it.
