What Causes Twitching Sensation From The Eyes To Mouth?

I have a twitch, almost like a tic that runs from my right eye to my mouth. My new doctor says there is nothing that can be done about it. It is causing some blurry vision in my right eye I am 72 years old. On my last visit to my eye doctor, he said my eyes were in good shape.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your doctor has done a good physical examination including neurological exam and there is nothing worrisome found very likely there is nothing to worry. Muscle twitching with normal findings in examination very likely are due to stress or anxiety. Because your eyes are fine and also your other doctor has not identified something to treat very likely this is the case.

Maybe being reassured and knowing that there seems to be nothing wrong might help you relax and reduce the muscle twitching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
