What Causes Twisting Sensation In The Abdomen?

Every once in a while, when I lean a certain way so that I m kind of twisting my abdomen, I get a sensation that something is moving inside me -- like I m not just twisting my abdomen, but something on the inside is getting twisted. It s really painful in the moment, but once I straighten out, it goes away. Does that make sense?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Twisting sensation in the abdomen may be due to infection, irritation of bowel, or ulcer formation etcetera. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
