What Causes Trouble Inhaling When On Cardio Exercises?
For the past year I have had trouble inhaling. It started when I was doing cardio at first. It would hurt to take deep breaths and I would get short of breath, It began progressing to yawning. Every time I yawned it felt like my lungs were burning, now I can barely walk up a flight of stairs before I feel like I can t breath. I was given an inhaler but it does not help. I hard a chest x-ray done recently and was told I had pneumonia. It has been 4 weeks on antibiotics and there has been no improvement.
Hi welcome to HCM I understand your query and concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of Cor Pulmonale which means right heart failure secondary to lung disease.Your shortness of breath comes under dysnea grade 2-3.Get investigations like ECG,2 dimensional Echocardiography, lipid profile,HB,blood sugars, serum electrolytes,Chest x ray immediately to confirm the diagnosis. It could be corpulmonale hence not resolving with antibiotics. You also need diuretics and inotropes along with antibiotics.Consult your cardiologist and pulmonologist for expert management. Post ypur further queries if any Thankyou
