What Causes Trouble Breathing And Pain In Chest With Abnormal EKG?

Been over 3 weeks started with flu symptoms throwing up,103°,rash on my back looked like 2nd burns, severe fatigue. Finally went to er 2x in past week my chief complaint was trouble breathing & felt like a few hundred pounds on my chest & getting worse. ER did chest x-Ray,blood work, ekg sent me home. I got my ER reports from my visit & both times the ekg was not normal. I know something serious is wrong this happened in the past but without flu symptoms. Had heart Cath last year that was normal. Any ideas what is going on,pain so bad feels like all my ribs are broken, now to sick to work.

Hello,

You are experiencing trouble breathing and pain in the chest. You had EKG done and both times it was not normal. You are suggested to take antacids or PPIs, one SOS when you have symptoms to get relief if it is from GERD. You should avoid skipping meals, avoid taking oily, spicy, junk food. Do not take packaged or processed food. Always take fresh food that is either plain boiled or cooked in olive oil.

You are suggested to get a routine cardiac check up done. Get all the tests like CBC, Urinalysis, echo, USG, stress test, blood glucose( F / PP), lipid function tests etc., done to detect any CAD, coronary artery disease developing. You will be treated accordingly. Avoid constipation, take high fiber diet or you can also take laxatives for better bowel movement. You should avoid trans fat, refined flour, full fat dairy products, red meat, etc. You can take well cooked whole cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables, dry fruits, lean meat, small fishes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

With your above tests, I will recommend one more if it's not done MRI, this can rule out very small lesions also (as you also mention without flu symptoms) history is also not Fully clear or contradict itself too!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
