What Causes Trickling Feeling In The Back Of My Throat?

I have a "trickling feeling" in the back of my throat, that's now been there for 2 or three days. I'm also coughing small bit's of orangeish, redish in my normal spit, and this liquid feeling in my throat is making me feel nauseous. Any idea on what it may be?
