What Causes Tremors While Recovering From Hemorrhagic Shock?

I am recovering from hemorrhagic shock. It damaged my kidneys and I spent 8 weeks with dialysis and they seemed to be working fine now. I am however suffering from shaking and tremors through out my entire body I also have muscle spasms in my legs since I was released from rehab. Are the shakes and tremors part of the recovery.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Metabolic derangements that occurred and still may be present since your kidneys went offline are what's most likely causing the tremors, muscle jerks, and muscle cramps/spasms. So long as your kidney function gets back to normal the rest of what's going on will get better.
