What Causes Trembling Of Hands And Leg?

I am 53 years old and in good health, physically and mentally active. Over the last six weeks I ve notices shaking in my hands and sometimes my leg. I also have some minor jaw, shoulder, and hip pain on the left side. I know, I know, you re thinking stroke, but I think it may be sciatica. I m mainly worried about the shaking. I take enalapril, 10 mg, pristiq, 50 mg, a calcium/vitamin d supplement (started around the time I noticed the shaking) and I split a 100 mg pill of wellbutrin, the regular, not the extended release.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Shaking of hands and leg is neurological problem, however, not sciatica. Sciatica is characterized by shooting pain going from back radiating to thigh, leg and sole of the foot. I suggest you to consult your neurologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
