What Causes Tonsillitis Along With Palatopharyngeal Arch Ulcer?

Hai Doctor. I am Nisha. Past 6 days i am suffering from right sided tonsilitis and with a palatopharyngeal arch ulcer on the same side. First i took erythromycin for 3 days and now i started azithromycin course .Other symptoms are yellow sputum and severe pain.

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Erythromycin and Azithromycin are same group antibiotics. So if there is no improvement with it then if you were my patient I would suggest antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav. This is also prescription antibiotic given in dosage of 625 mg twice daily for 5 to 7 days. You can also do warm saline gargle. Throat lozenges like strepsils also can be taken. Taking chewable vitamin C in dosage of 300 mg daily will be helpful for faster healing also.
